Hey howdy hey.

I decided to warm up this morning by playing with Sculptris - a free 3D sculpting tool in the same vein as ZBrush and Mudbox. I have toyed with zBrush before, which was a lot of fun, although I found it a little overwhelming. Sculptris, on the other hand, offers a stripped-down, immediate experience which is superb for quickly sketching ideas. I can’t recommend it highly enough (especially if you work on a tablet).

Although I’m certainly no 3D modeller, I’m quite pleased with the initial results. The attached images took around 30 minutes to create.

I’m looking forward to creating some more complex monstrosities later this year when my schedule frees up :D
